School starts in a week....sigh....summer went by too fast....

Awesome weekend...KFC Superheroes Village conference was a success. Thanks to John Acosta for coming down to help us. Thanks to the Tolledo family for inviting Brad and I to Elkhorn resort. Past few days of relaxation really helped, now ready to take on school for another 3 months!

SFC is pretty cool. Onto week 3....9 to go!

STUDY STUDY STUDY....finals are coming up this week and next. Thanks to God i passed all my clinical rotations. Mental Health was awesome and Palliative was heart touching. For those who will be doing their 4th year clinical rotations this summer and Sept. i suggest you try to get into Seven Oaks for Mental and Riverview Health Centre (evenings) for Palliative...both were great experiences.

Brad and I just bought a Pleco for my fish tank last night and all the cichilds were pecking at him. My tank is so cute...i have 9 baby cichlids and one pleco...i think i might have fed them too much in the morning b/c before i left to go study, their stomachs were huge! I hope they don't die...it's been a while since i had fishes...

Area Family GA today at 7 pm St. Ewards. Hope everyone can make it. Oh, i'm selling tickets for WOW GK...pls come and talk to me if you want to go. this event is our first huge event that actually involves the whole community of Winnipeg. Pls come out and see the show...or...come out and see me...i'll be singing and dancing up on stage! AHHHH...this is totally going out of my comfort area.

Take care and God Bless everyone!

Hello hello!!

Just came home from clinical at Riverview. It's going well. Palliative care is kind of intense i find. I guess i'm lucky no one has died on me yet, unlike one of my classmate's pt. It's all very sad. I hope i will be able to handle it when the time comes.

Besides clinical, everything is going well. A lot to do w/ service, but i feel a bit guilty for not helping out as much as i would like to. Gotta get my butt in gear. School work is just taking up a lot of my time.

I was talking to a student about maybe VW'ing from my Mental Health class. Before VW'ing, this classmate was pretty much in the same boat as i am in right now, and the teacher told her that she had to get a high A to pass the class!!! Oh no! So what does that have to say about me?!?! I still have till Friday to VW, but still that's only 2 days away! Sigh....i pray that i got a B or higher on this last test.....

I miss Brad. I want to go watch the Incredibles again!!

I just met Brad's Grandparents at their homecoming from the Phil's. It was great. Nice people, awesome food....yummmmmmm....CRAB! They were very nice (Nanay gave me a shirt) even though she did not have to.

School is going well. Passed my Palliative test (thought i majorily failed it). Keeping busy w/ service...good stuff.....ok mtg time!
